On the 17th June 1967 D9005 "THE PRINCE OF WALES'S OWN REGIMENT OF YORKSHIRE" worked the 1X17 King's Cross - Carlisle "The Hadrian Flyer" charter from Newcastle (ex 4472) and the Carlisle - King's Cross return leg via the S&C. Here D9005 is seen with the returning section of the charter as it approaches Newark at Hatchet's Lane Crossing.
