...The 28th November 1981 saw two Deltic railtours: 55016 (D9016) "GORDON HIGHLANDER" worked "The Deltic Devonian" from London to Exeter and return, whilst 55022 (D9000) "ROYAL SCOTS GREY" powered "The Deltic Venturer" from York to Paddington. Here "The Deltic Venturer" is seen as 55022 passes Kemble, between Gloucester and Swindon...
