Powering the 1E14 11:00 Glasgow Queen St. - King's Cross "The Queen of Scots Pullman" service through Hemsworth, near Wakefield, during July 1963 is D9009 "ALYCIDON". The locomotive would have taken over the service at Leeds Central.
