Passing Craigo and with the eastern peaks of the Grampian Mountains as a backdrop 55012 (D9012) "CREPELLO" works the 1G6412:40 Aberdeen - Edinburgh on the 25th March 1981. The locomotive has recently applied the brakes after travelling between 90 & 100 mph through Laurencekirk and Marykirk and will more or less drift down to Kinnaber for a stop at Montrose.
