D9010 "THE KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERER" waits to depart Edinburgh Waverley on the 28th January 1967 with the 1A47 14:00 "Heart of Midlothian" service for King's Cross. Note the locomotive still retains green livery, however, now carries the new British Rail corporate double arrows insignia.
