The shabby state of 55001 "ST. PADDY" is seen here during her sojourn on Doncaster Works awaiting power units. The date is 15th July 1979 and No.1 had been at Doncaster from the 24th March 1978. Withdrawn on the 5th January 1980 she was cut-up during February of that year.
